Princess Cruises has exciting news for its guests, announcing the addition of the Sanctuary Collection to five more ships in its fleet by 2027. The selected vessels include the Royal Princess, Discovery Princess, Enchanted Princess, Regal Princess, and Sky Princess.
This move is part of a comprehensive modernization initiative aimed at elevating the overall cruise experience, focusing on luxury and personalized service.
New Opportunities for Relaxation
Initially launched on the Sun Princess and Star Princess, the Sanctuary Collection has quickly gained popularity among travelers who seek an upscale retreat within their cruise experience. Gus Antorcha, the president of Princess Cruises, shared that this expansion will enable more guests to enjoy the exclusive amenities that come with the Sanctuary Collection.
“Expanding Sanctuary Collection across five additional Royal Class ships allows more guests to enjoy the privacy, personalized service and premium amenities,”
he stated, highlighting the uniqueness of the experience while still providing access to all that a Princess cruise offers.
First Sailing Dates
The Sanctuary Collection will be introduced on these ships at staggered dates throughout 2027. Here’s when you can expect the new offerings to be available:
- Royal Princess: January 4, 2027 - 12-night roundtrip from Sydney, Australia to Fiji.
- Regal Princess: April 17, 2027 - 13-night transatlantic cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Southampton.
- Discovery Princess: April 24, 2027 - 7-night roundtrip cruise to the Mexican Riviera from Los Angeles.
- Sky Princess: May 29, 2027 - 14-night Baltic cruise from Southampton, UK.
- Enchanted Princess: June 12, 2027 - 7-night Mediterranean and Adriatic cruise departing from Civitavecchia, Italy.
Bookings for Royal Princess are now open, while those for the other ships will be available starting from November to December of this year.
A Notable Upgrade for Guests
Guests who have already reserved a stateroom in the Reserve Collection on Royal Princess will be automatically upgraded to the Sanctuary Collection at no extra charge, although this will not include the Princess Premier package available with new reservations.
Details regarding upgrades for existing bookings on the other four vessels have not yet been disclosed, leaving guests awaiting further announcements from the cruise line.
The Sanctuary Collection Experience
