Princess Cruises has transformed its Royal Princess, emerging from a two-week drydock in Singapore with a host of exciting upgrades for guests. With a capacity of 3,595 passengers, the ship is set to impress during its upcoming summer season in Sydney.
Upgraded Features to Enhance Guest Experience
The recent renovations included the addition of the Sanctuary Collection, a unique accommodation experience that promises to elevate relaxation and leisure. This enhancement is part of a broader initiative that will see five Royal-Class ships receive similar upgrades.
New culinary and social options have been introduced, most notably O’Malley’s Irish Pub and an expanded Bellini’s cocktail bar located in the ship’s Piazza. These venues are designed to enrich the social atmosphere on board, providing guests with unique options for dining and entertainment.
Highlights of the Revamp
- Sanctuary Collection: A premium all-inclusive experience featuring the Sanctuary Club, enhanced amenities, and personalized services.
- New Accommodations: The ship now boasts 20 additional cabins, including mini-suites, oceanview cabins, and single interior rooms.
- Expanded Bellini’s: The cocktail bar has moved into the former Photo Gallery space, offering a larger area with views of the Piazza, serving a variety of drinks including Bellini-inspired cocktails.
- Redesigned Casino: The Princess Casino has been reconfigured for added space and comfort, increasing the gaming area for slot machines.
Set for Exciting Voyages
Royal Princess is now poised to sail from Sydney, embarking on voyages that will explore Australia, New Zealand, and the enchanting South Pacific. As one of three Princess ships in the area during the 2026–27 season, it will offer 42 unique itineraries and 62 departures.
Travelers can expect sailings that highlight the remarkable cities and landscapes of Australia and New Zealand, along with shorter coastal cruises for those looking for a quick getaway.
