Marriott Bonvoy’s Autograph Collection has opened in India with Noormahal, Delhi NCR Karnal, a rebranded historic palace hotel in Haryana offering points redemptions in the future. The property, envisioned by descendants of a Maharaja, blends royal architecture and décor across 176 guest rooms and suites, plus two penthouses with private terraces and dedicated butler service.
Sited along the Grand Trunk Road, the hotel showcases regional art and artifacts reflecting Mughal, Rajput, Punjabi and Persian influences. General Manager Mahesh Singh Jasrotia said the vision is for Noormahal to be closely connected to North India’s surroundings.
Amenities include a spa, fitness center, outdoor pool, relaxation spaces, a Kids Play Zone and activities such as tennis, pickleball, ziplining and rock climbing. Dining options number four: Frontier Mail (Northwestern frontier recipes), Colonel Saab (modern Indian and international dishes), the Polo Bar (polo-inspired cocktails) and The Cake Factory (handcrafted desserts).
Noormahal serves as a gateway to nearby attractions like the Golden Temple (Punjab), Jim Corbett National Park (Uttarakhand) and adventure destinations in Himachal Pradesh. The hotel is in Karnal, about a two-hour drive from Chandigarh (IXC) and Delhi (DEL) airports; Karnal Railway Station is roughly 15 minutes away.
Rooms start at 19,000 Indian rupees (about $204) per night. The property currently shows no availability with Bonvoy points, though that may change.
