If you’ve been waiting for a deal on Away luggage, select Chase cardholders are currently being targeted with statement-credit offers that can trim $100 or $200 off purchases made directly at Away.
What to watch for
– Chase Sapphire Reserve®: targeted Chase Offer for a $200 statement credit after $500 in qualifying Away purchases.
– Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card: targeted Chase Offer for a $100 statement credit after $400 in qualifying Away purchases.
How the offers work
– These are targeted Chase Offers that must be activated in the Chase Offers section of your card account. Activate before you buy.
– Use the same Chase card (with the activated offer) to pay for the Away purchase to receive the statement credit.
– The offers are valid through May 20, 2026.
Ways to make the math work
– Away currently has a promotion taking $50 off two bags. If you buy two Carry-On bags before tax, that discount can help you hit the $500 reserve threshold. With the $200 Reserve credit applied, your out-of-pocket could be roughly $150 per bag.
– If you only need one bag, consider combining purchases with a friend or family member (one person pays, receives the credit, then you split the cost) to reach the required spend.
– Start your purchase from a cashback or rewards portal (for example, Rakuten) to stack additional cash back or points on top of the Chase statement credit.
Product notes and tips
– The Away Bigger Carry-On is popular for capacity and durability; the standard Away Carry-On is a better fit if you prefer a smaller size or need to meet stricter overhead limits.
– Prices and promotions are before tax; tax and shipping may affect whether you meet the spend threshold. Confirm the final total before you check out.
– Double-check that you activated the correct offer on the right card and that the card is used at checkout.
