Ikon Pass has released its 2026–2027 offerings, with sales starting Thursday, March 12. The rollout adds resorts and partner perks, tweaks access at some mountains, introduces family and group discounts, and raises prices modestly. Early buyers also unlock spring 2026 skiing at many resorts.

Resort additions and access changes for 2026–2027

– Bonus mountains: Two free (nonblackout) days still available at Wild Mountain (MN), Buck Hill (MN), Cranmore (NH) and Jiminy Peak (MA). Note these bonus days aren’t included with the Ikon Base Pass.
– Access updates: Arapahoe Basin now provides unlimited access on the Ikon Base Pass. Snowmass offers five-day access on the Base Pass with select blackout dates. Aspen Snowmass no longer requires reservations.
Renewal and partner perks
Returning passholders get a renewal bonus worth up to $300, with five choices: monthly Mountain Credits up to $25 (max $300), up to $100 credit at Backcountry.com plus Premium membership, one free night award worth up to 25,000 Marriott Bonvoy points, up to two free days of gear rentals with Ski Butlers, or up-to-$50 renewal discount. Ikon also expanded partner discounts with new offers from Kiehl’s, Trubar, Carv, AG1 and Away Luggage, alongside existing partners like Smartwool, The North Face, JSX, ShipSkis and Gravity Haus.
Refundable protection and payment options
– Refundable protection: A new refundable protection add-on starts at $184.80. If you haven’t scanned your pass by Jan. 15, 2027, you can receive a 100% cash refund for any reason; if the pass has a single scan by that date it’s eligible for a 50% cash refund.
– Payment plans: Ikon offers Affirm financing with $0 down and split-pay options over three, six or 12 months (APR varies; check checkout). If paying in full, consider which credit card category will earn the most rewards for this purchase, since lift tickets and passes may not always code to a single bonus category.
Hotels and points-friendly lodging
Many Ikon destinations have nearby properties in major hotel programs. Examples include St. Regis Deer Valley (Marriott Bonvoy), Grand Hyatt Deer Valley (World of Hyatt), Viewline Resort Snowmass (Autograph Collection/Marriott), The St. Regis Aspen, W Aspen, Sheraton Steamboat Resort Villas, The Westin Monache Mammoth, Le Westin Tremblant, SpringHill Suites Jackson Hole and The Cloudveil (Marriott Bonvoy). Other chains like Choice, IHG and Hilton also have options near select mountains.
Bottom line
Buying an Ikon Pass when sales open March 12 locks in current pricing and can unlock extra spring 2026 skiing at numerous resorts. The 2026–2027 update adds Midwest resorts, new discounts for families and groups, expanded partner perks, a refundable protection option and flexible payment plans—features that make this year’s offerings worth evaluating if you plan to ski next winter or get in more turns this spring.
