Overview
JetBlue has upgraded its premium JetBlue Premier Card (launched 2025, $499 annual fee) with new perks aimed at status chasers, frequent flyers and big spenders.
New benefits
– 25 Tiles toward Mosaic each year: Cardholders receive 25 status Tiles at the start of each calendar year, putting you halfway to entry-level Mosaic (Mosaic 1), which brings perks like a free checked bag, preferred seating and Mosaic bonus points.
– Companion pass statement credit: Spend $15,000 on the card in a calendar year and unlock a companion-pass statement credit worth up to $500. Spend $75,000 in a calendar year and you’ll unlock an additional companion-pass credit worth up to $1,500.
– Higher redemption rebate: Award redemptions for JetBlue or partner flights now earn a 15% rebate of TrueBlue points back to your account (up from 10%).
Why this matters
The 15% points rebate increases the value of award travel and brings the Premier Card closer to comparable premium airline cards that offer elevated redemption bonuses. The annual 25-Tile boost helps frequent flyers jump-start their Mosaic progress without extra spending. Companion-pass credits provide meaningful value if you can meet the $15,000 or, for substantially more value, the $75,000 threshold — the latter will be practical only for a minority of cardholders.
Bottom line
These enhancements make the JetBlue Premier Card more attractive for loyal JetBlue customers who redeem TrueBlue frequently, want an easy push toward Mosaic elite status, or can realistically meet the companion-pass spending targets. Weigh the upgraded benefits against the $499 annual fee and your typical travel and spending patterns to decide if it fits your needs.
