The Capital One Venture X Business recently launched its largest welcome offer to date: 200,000 bonus miles after $30,000 in purchases within three months, plus an additional 200,000 miles after reaching $150,000 in purchases within six months — a total of 400,000 bonus miles. The card carries a $395 annual fee, which is lower than many competing premium business cards.
This is the highest public welcome bonus the Venture X Business has offered, surpassing a prior high of 350,000 miles. For high-spending business owners, this is an unusually strong moment to apply.
Who’s eligible
TPG recommends applicants have a credit score of about 740 or higher. You don’t need to be a traditional business owner to qualify, but the spending thresholds favor businesses with substantial card outlays. Holding the personal Venture X does not disqualify you, and the Venture X Business is not part of recent family-rule restrictions on Venture bonuses. However, Capital One’s terms say you may be ineligible for the bonus if you currently hold another Capital One business card (for example, a Spark card). Also note Capital One requires a six-month gap between approved applications.
What 400,000 miles are worth
TPG’s November 2025 valuations place Capital One miles at about 1.85 cents each, making 400,000 miles worth roughly $7,400 when transferred to partners and used for high-value award bookings. If you redeem through Capital One Business Travel at a fixed 1 cent per mile, the bonus equals $4,000 in travel credit.
Top redemptions to get outsized value
– Transfer 1:1 to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club for some excellent transatlantic economy and premium options.
– Transfer 1:1 to Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer to access long-haul business- and first-class award space.
– Transfer 1:1 to Air Canada Aeroplan to book short-notice United flights for fewer miles and competitively priced business-class awards to Europe (often from ~60,000 points one-way on Star Alliance carriers).
Watch for occasional transfer bonuses that can stretch your miles further.
Extra miles from meeting the spend
Because the card earns at least 2 miles per dollar on purchases, spending $150,000 to trigger the full bonus would also generate at least another 300,000 miles from spend, meaning you could accumulate at least 700,000 Capital One miles total — enough for multiple high-value premium redemptions.
Why the card is valuable beyond the bonus
– $300 annual credit for bookings made through Capital One Business Travel, which is straightforward for business use.
– 10,000 anniversary bonus miles each year.
– Complimentary airport lounge access for the primary cardholder and up to two guests at Capital One Lounges and 1,300+ Priority Pass lounges (note guest access rules may change).
– Strong portal earning: 10 miles per dollar on hotels and rental cars booked via Capital One Business Travel, and 5 miles per dollar on flights and vacation rentals booked there.
– Solid everyday earning of 2 miles per dollar on all other purchases.
Bottom line
This 400,000‑mile welcome offer on the Capital One Venture X Business is the most generous public business-card bonus seen recently. At TPG valuations, the bonus can be worth up to about $7,400 via transfers to partners, or $4,000 via Capital One’s fixed travel redemption rate. The full bonus requires heavy spending, so it’s primarily targeted at businesses that can meet the thresholds — but combined with the card’s ongoing benefits (travel credit, anniversary miles, lounge access and strong earning rates), it represents a compelling opportunity for eligible, high-spending business owners. Capital One hasn’t announced an end date, so interested applicants may want to act while the offer is available.
